Can I get an appointment at short notice?
Often, yes — especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when the salon is open until 21:00. Please call 043 444 17 17; Julia will discuss the treatment, timing and availability with you personally.
Are evening appointments available?
Yes. The salon is open from 12:00 to 21:00 every Tuesday and Thursday, so an after-work colour appointment can fit into your day.
How much does a haircut cost?
A wash and cut costs CHF 65–109, depending on hair length. With a blow-dry, the price is CHF 108–148. Your fixed price is agreed before the treatment starts.
How much does balayage cost?
Balayage or ribbons with a gloss and blow-dry starts at CHF 252; with a cut, it starts at CHF 270.90. The price depends on hair length and density. Allow around 2¼–2¾ hours; your fixed price is confirmed in advance.
What are cotton highlights (Watte-Mèches)?
Watte-Mèches is a traditional highlighting technique using cotton to separate fine sections of hair. It creates delicate, natural-looking highlights. Valesca Hair is one of the few salons in Zurich offering this technique.
Should I wash my hair before my appointment?
No — washing is part of the treatment. For balayage, coming with your hair as it is can help Julia assess your natural starting colour.
